After creating video content at Latitude Festival 2018 for the Lavish Lounge who run the stage in partnership with BBC Introducing they say our work and were impressed enough to ask if we could produce their highlights video for Latitude Festival 2019. This was a dream opportunity for us and were more than happy to take the challenge on.
With just one camera operator running the whole show for the weekend it was a busy time especially as we were also filming for Lavish Lounge and Festival Republic’s Sustainability team. We are nothing if not hard working though so this did not faze our lone camera op who relished the opportunity to film a whole host of performers, live performance with sound from the sound desk, festival goers and b roll. With the weekend complete the next step was to prep all the different footage for editing. We had two editors on hand to ensure all work would be complete with one focusing purely on editing the BBC Introducing video. With the edit complete we sent onto the client who came back with no amends meaning we got it right first time which was great news.
The main highlights video along with live performance videos from Pale Waves, Tom Grenham and Freya Ridings were all featured on the BBC website along with the various social media pages. It has been great to support BBC Introducing in there constant push to discover new music. We look forward to returning to Latitude next year to do it all again.
