We worked with Ocean Media on this dynamic event video project capturing the energy, expertise, and industry atmosphere at the UK’s leading trade exhibition where flooring professionals connect, learn, and do business.

Live Event Coverage That Captures Industry Energy

For this project,we delivered event video production across one full day, with a single videographer embedded on the exhibition floor. The goal was simple: capture the atmosphere, the craftsmanship, and the commercial conversations that define The Flooring Show.

From the moment doors opened, we filmed dynamic B-roll of busy exhibition aisles, detailed product displays, hands-on demonstrations, and genuine networking moments between suppliers and buyers. A key part of the coverage was the live flooring competition, where fitters showcased their precision and speed in front of a crowd. This added a strong narrative thread and visual intensity to the final edit.

Interviews That Add Authority and Authenticity

To strengthen the story, we captured short on-camera interviews with exhibitors and attendees throughout the day. These were recorded efficiently alongside the live action, ensuring minimal disruption.

The interviews brought authority and authenticity to the highlights film. Rather than relying solely on visuals, we combined strong B-roll with genuine commentary from people actively involved in the show. This approach elevated the final piece from a simple recap into effective event marketing video content. By blending personality with pace, we ensured the film felt both credible and engaging.

Social-Ready Event Marketing Content

The final deliverables were designed for maximum marketing impact.

We produced a 60-second highlights film combining cinematic B-roll and selected interview soundbites to showcase the scale, expertise and business value of the event. This acted as the core promotional asset, ideal for website use and future event marketing.

Alongside this, we created a 30-second music-only edit tailored specifically for social media. Fast-paced and visually driven, this version was optimised for short-form platforms where attention spans are tight and impact matters immediately.
